Autologous Fat Transfer
As we age, there is a natural loss of volume in the face, caused both by a reduction in fat deposits and by changes in the bony structures. At the same time, skin quality deteriorates as a result of reduced collagen and elastin production, causing the skin to lose its firmness, elasticity and radiance.
As part of a regenerative approach, autologous fat transfer harmoniously compensates for age-related volume loss and naturally restores facial contours. To further improve skin quality and promote tissue regeneration, specially processed nanofat, exosomes and microneedling are used.

Key Information
Natural volume and improved skin quality through autologous fat grafting (micro- and nano-fat) with long-lasting and harmonious results.
Consultation
During a face-to-face consultation, volume loss, skin quality and potential donor sites are carefully analysed. Together, we define your wishes and the optimal strategy for volume restoration and regeneration. You will also receive comprehensive information about the procedure, its effects, potential risks and the realistic results you can expect.
Preparation
Following consultation with a doctor, blood-thinning medication will be stopped or adjusted for a few days before and after the procedure to reduce the risk of bruising and post-operative bleeding.
Surgery / Injection
The desired extraction site is first prepared using a local anaesthetic (usually the abdomen or thigh). The required amount of autologous fat is then gently extracted, specially processed and precisely injected into the desired areas of the face. The fat is distributed in several thin layers to ensure it heals optimally and is supplied with new blood vessels by the body.
Aftercare
Depending on the extent of the procedure, patients are either discharged as outpatients or kept in hospital overnight for observation. Afterwards, the body should be allowed sufficient rest for around 1 to 2 weeks. Most patients are able to resume normal social activities after around 7–10 days. Some of the autologous fat is naturally broken down by the body over time, which is why the treated area may appear temporarily slightly overcorrected or fuller immediately after the procedure.
Result
Long-lasting volume restoration with improved skin quality and natural integration into the facial contours.
