Key Information
Ears that lie naturally against the head, blending harmoniously with the facial proportions, with inconspicuous scars hidden behind the ear.
Consultation
During a face-to-face consultation, the shape, position and symmetry of the ears, as well as their proportions in relation to the face, are carefully analysed. Together, we define your wishes and the optimal correction strategy. You will also receive comprehensive information about the procedure, potential risks and the realistic outcome you can expect.
Preparation
On the day of the treatment, the hair and skin around the ears should be clean and free of any hair care products. Following consultation with your doctor, any blood-thinning medication should be stopped or adjusted a few days before and after the procedure.
Surgery / Injection
Through a discreet incision behind the ear, the ear cartilage is exposed and shaped into the desired form and position using specialised suturing and sculpting techniques. This results in a natural-looking ear that blends harmoniously with the facial proportions. The scars are concealed behind the ear and are barely visible afterwards. A small drain is temporarily inserted to remove wound fluid, after which a special ear dressing is applied.
Aftercare
You can go home on the same day as your operation. You should wear a headband for at least 6 weeks.
