Preparation
Following consultation with your doctor, blood-thinning medication should be stopped or adjusted a few days before and after the procedure. In addition, the treatment area should be consistently protected from sunlight, which is why the daily use of sun cream is recommended. It is essential to avoid getting sunburnt before the treatment.
Surgery / Injection
Through small, inconspicuous incisions at the hairline, the tissue structures of the forehead and eyebrows are gently mobilised within a superficial (subcutaneous) layer and repositioned upwards. The lift is stabilised by a special temporary mesh, which aids healing. This creates a natural lifting effect without tension, whilst preserving the natural movement of the eyebrows and leaving barely visible scars.
Aftercare
Following the operation, depending on the findings, patients will either be discharged as outpatients or kept in hospital overnight for observation. The temporary mesh is removed after a few days. Afterwards, patients should allow their bodies sufficient rest for around 1 to 2 weeks and cool their face regularly. Most patients are able to resume normal social activities after around 2 weeks. During the healing phase, patients should ensure they use sun protection consistently.
