Wrinkle Treatment with Botulinumtoxin

Botulinum toxin A (Botox) is a tried-and-tested active ingredient used to selectively relax the facial muscles. It is used, amongst other things, to treat forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow’s feet, drooping corners of the mouth, or for a subtle brow lift. The aim is to achieve a relaxed, fresh facial expression, not a stiff face. Precise dosing and targeted injection ensure that natural facial expressions are preserved.

Duration of the procedure

15–30 minutes

Anaesthesia

None, numbing cream available upon request

Stay

Outpatient

Post treatment

Avoid direct sunlight or saunas for 24 hours

Key Information

Treatment with botulinum toxin specifically reduces expression lines by relaxing the muscles. The facial expression appears more relaxed and refreshed.

Consultation

During a personal consultation, we will analyse your facial expressions and the unique pattern of wrinkles on your face. Together, we will discuss your wishes and identify the areas to be treated. I will provide you with comprehensive information about the effects, the procedure, any potential risks and the realistic results you can expect.

Preparation

The skin is cleansed and, if desired, lightly numbed. The injection points are then marked out, depending on the areas to be treated.

Surgery / Injection

The botulinum toxin is injected precisely using an extra-fine needle. The treatment takes around 10–15 minutes, is well tolerated and requires no recovery time. You can leave the clinic straight afterwards.

Aftercare

No direct sunlight or sauna for 24 hours.

Result

A more relaxed, refreshed facial appearance with smoothed expression lines, whilst retaining natural facial expressions without looking stiff.
