Key Information

Cosmetic breast reduction for women with physically uncomfortable or excessively large breasts, whether due to physical discomfort or for aesthetic reasons.

Consultation

During a personal consultation, we will analyse the shape and volume of your breasts, as well as any potential functional issues. Together, we will define your goals and plan the extent of the tissue reduction and reshaping. You will be given detailed information about scarring, the procedure, risks and the expected functional and aesthetic results, as well as the possibility of your health insurance covering the costs.

Preparation

To ensure optimal wound healing, you should stop smoking around four weeks before the operation. Blood-thinning medication should be stopped or adjusted a few days before the procedure, following consultation with your doctor.

Surgery / Injection

Before the operation, careful markings are made whilst the patient is standing, so that the subsequent shaping, symmetry and position of the nipple can be planned with precision. The procedure is then carried out under general anaesthesia. During the procedure, excess glandular, fatty and skin tissue is removed using a technique tailored to the individual, and the breast is reshaped. The nipple is repositioned to an anatomically optimal position. Immediately after the operation, a special support bra is fitted whilst the patient is still in the operating theatre to aid healing and stabilise the new breast shape.

Aftercare

Afterwards, you should allow your body to rest for about 2 weeks. It is essential to wear a support bra for 6 weeks. You should avoid exercise for about 4 weeks.

Result

A lighter feeling in the chest with improved posture and noticeable relief for the neck and back, leading to a better quality of life, greater self-confidence and improved mobility.
